Brett and I waiting anxiously for the festivities to begin...

Looking down on Brett from my view point.... standing on top of a concrete post....

... and looking down on my parents a few feet in front of us...

Looking towards the intersection of University where the parade would turn east onto Dundas (where we were)

My favorite part - the police marching band - I LOVE the bagpipes!

Mother Goose - always a float for mother goose every year!

I think these kids have a pretty sweet deal...

Brett's favorite float (obviously)

OH YEAH!!!

These clowns that walk on their "hands" have been in the parade since I was a little girl...

Can you believe it.... only 40 more days until Christmas!

... and here he comes....

... the man in red himself! The little girl next to me on her Dad's shoulders anxiously cried "Santa! Santa!" and when I looked over at her the excitement in her eyes made me so happy!

Sunday and the weather was mild and perfect to spend the afternoon downtown watching the annual Toronto Santa Clause Parade! It's a tradition in my family since I was a small girl, so we enjoyed doing it with my parents this year!

Well, tomorrow is the big day and we're taking off to Niagara Falls for a night before moving onto Boston and then Dublin and Glasgow and back to Boston for Thanksgiving. It's going to be a crazy two weeks but we can't wait for our adventure to begin... and of course I'm looking forward to sharing photos when we're back! See you all in two weeks!
